Come join us for a fun 4 hour drawing session inspired by marine creatures!

Part biological illustration, part philosophy, these workshops are where you can have fun with pastel pencils and foster your inner creative. No previous drawing experience necessary! These are for beginners.

That you were born an artist and are creative! You’ll also learn:
Basic drawing techniques
Foundations of colour theory
Pastel pencil fundamentals
What to consider when drawing on coloured paper.
Foundational shading and blending techniques replicate colours and patterns in your sea creature.
Shadowing techniques to highlight fins or bring depth to your creatures body.

Just yourself and you own reusable water bottle.

All drawing materials including reference photos by local WA underwater photographers.

While this is an adult beginners class, young creatives that would love to spend few hours drawing are also welcome. The age range of 11 and above is a guide.

Workshops that are open to the public remain half-price and are generally $90pp, depending on the event. Please get in touch for my corporate offerings and rates.
UPDATE - Workshops will start again in the Winter 2026. While the water might be a bit cold for diving, you can still connect to the Sea through art!
